The energy monitoring of a building requires communication, in addition to the electricity meters, with water, gas, diesel, thermal, company meters … as well as temperature probes, air quality, radiation, etc. The SenNet IoT solution allows the integration of all these measures to achieve complete energy management.

WATER, GAS, DIESEL…

These consumptions can be measured by the SenNet Pulse Counter device, which is connected via radio to the dataloggers. As there is usually no power supply available where this type of meter is located, the SenNet Pulse Counter operates with a long-life battery. The device is available with both RF Net and Long Net technology.

TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY PROBES

For proper energy management, it is important to take environmental measurements, such as temperature and humidity. With the SenNet TH device, you can perform these measurements with great accuracy and simplicity thanks to the connection via radio, RF Net and Long Net.

AIR QUALITY

The SenNET CO2 sensor complements the range of meters to provide information on air quality in the facilities. This information, in combination with the control options of the dataloggers, makes it possible to manage, for example, building ventilation systems. The connection is via radio, both with RF Net and Long Net technology.

PERFORMANCE AND CONTROL

The datalogger incorporates digital inputs and outputs, but it may be that the equipment to be controlled is not next to it, or that you want to expand the number of signals. In this sense, the SenNet IoT solution offers the SenNet 4IO equipment that allows to add 4 inputs and 4 outputs to implement control strategies, either with the rules defined in the datalogger, or with the MyAPP functionality, or remotely from the platform. SenNet 4IO devices allow connection via RS485 or RF Net or Long Net radio frequency.

RADIO NETWORK EXTENSION

REPEATERS
For both the RF Net and Long Net (*) radio systems, the SenNet IoT solution offers repeaters to extend the coverage of the radio network. The repeaters require external power supply.

GATEWAY
With the RF Gateway you can integrate any equipment from another manufacturer with an RS232 or RS485 serial port into the RFNet or LongNet(*) radio network.

RF TESTER KIT

The SenNet IoT solution incorporates the RF Tester Kit to evaluate radio network coverage, either RF Net or Long Net (*). The kit consists of a transmitter and a receiver, both portable and battery operated. The transmitter is placed where the datalogger or a repeater is to be installed, and with the receiver it is verified with a display and light indicators in the areas where radio frequency connected equipment is to be installed.

CAN I CONNECT A COMPANY COUNTER TO THE RADIO FREQUENCY DATALOGGER?

Yes, the SenNet IoT solution incorporates a device, called RF Gateway, to which you can connect an optical sensor placed in the companion meter. The Gateway operates as a transparent gateway to communicate the companion counter with the datalogger wirelessly.

CAN I CONNECT TO THE DATALOGGER BY RADIO FREQUENCY AN ANALYSER FROM ANOTHER MANUFACTURER?

Yes, the SenNet IoT solution incorporates a device called RF Gateway to which you can connect any analyzer from any manufacturer with an RS232 or RS485 interface. The Gateway operates as a transparent gateway to communicate the analyzer with the datalogger wirelessly.

CAN I CONNECT A THERMAL COUNTER TO THE RADIO FREQUENCY DATALOGGER?

Yes, the SenNet IoT solution incorporates a device, called RF Gateway, to which you can connect any thermal counter from any manufacturer that has an RS232, RS485, or even MBUS interface using the appropriate converter. The RF Gateway operates as a transparent gateway to communicate the analyzer with the datalogger wirelessly.

CAN I CONNECT TO THE DATALOGGER BY RADIO FREQUENCY A PHOTOVOLTAIC INVERTER?

Yes, the SenNet IoT solution incorporates a device, called RF Gateway, to which you can connect any analyzer from any manufacturer with an RS232 or RS485 interface. The Gateway operates as a transparent gateway to communicate the analyzer with the datalogger wirelessly.

CAN I CONNECT A WEATHER STATION TO THE RADIO FREQUENCY DATALOGGER TO MANAGE MY OWN PHOTOVOLTAIC CONSUMPTION?

Yes, the SenNet IoT solution incorporates a device, called the RF Gateway, to which you can connect a weather station that includes radiation cells, a panel and ambient temperature sensor, and optionally an anemometer. This device allows you to verify the correct performance of your photovoltaic installation, together with the generation data measured by the datalogger.

(*) RADIO LONG NET TECHNOLOGY

Thanks to the use of advanced IoT modulation systems, the Long Net radio system is the most suitable when you want to cover large spaces and great penetrability, for example when there are several floors in the building.
